The school holds a Mayrathon every year for the kids to raise money for a good cause. This year they are raising money for St. Francis Hospital children's department. Connor had the option to run 1-4 laps. We told him to do what he could do and try his best.
Our tough big guy finished four laps and we are so proud of him. Four laps is equivalent to two miles which is huge for an 8 year old. Great job!
Some of the parents sent me their photos from the race so I had to add them in. I call this one the Three Amigos - here is Connor and his best buddies from Ms. Teng's class.
They were all happy to finish and get a sweet treat at the end.
