The kids were excited to see what was in the mystery box. 
They shared in my excitement that our 2013 book of the blog had arrived. They ripped it open as fast as they could.
And instantly sat on the couch to read it. Their enthusiasm is what makes all the time and effort so worthwhile. They took it to bed tonight to read and couldn't wait to relive their memories of the past year.
My favorite comment was from Connor. If you read this blog, you may have noticed that I went a little MIA in 2012. So Connors first question, did you finish 2012 yet mom? I had to be honest and tell him that 2012 will have to live on in our memories. Mommy can barely keep up with their exciting lives in 2014. It was a rewarding night to see the final result. The smiles make it totally worth it.
