Picture Day

It's that time of year again - Picture Day at Dance class.  

  

Emily loves her costume this year and is ready for her close up.  Looking good sweetheart.

African Literature & Classroom Visit

This morning we were welcomed into Mrs. Willand's first grade classroom to read the literary work from our children regarding African culture.

Garrett, Molly and Mason helped make the welcome sign.

Each child made their own National Geographic magazine.  The follow pictures are the pages from Garrett's book.  It is simply amazing what they are able to accomplish.

Garrett you are so creative, detailed and hardworking...you make us so proud.  Superb job!

Indoor Season: Session II

After another great indoor season, the Chargers emerged as the champions.  They played hard and had fun.

All were happy to finish this session undefeated and we loved seeing the giant smiles on their faces.

Semi-Final Shoot Out

Connor's team advanced all the way to the semi-finals this year.  What a game!  The entire team played phenomenal but came up 2 points shy.

The boys should be so proud with how they played.  Congrats!!  Connor you did amazing.

Look What I Learned

The end of each gymnastics session brings the opportunity to join the class in the gym to see the new skills they have learned.

All of Emily's coaches are surprised by how strong she is for a little girl.  Example number 1 below.

This was the first session where they were introduced to the big set of uneven bars.  I believe it might be Emily's favorite.

Barn Babies

Today at school, Barn Babies came for a visit and Emily was in heaven.  

Emily loves animals and to be able to hold kittens and bunnies is a dream.  

Then, she just had to make sure she got a turn brushing the lamb.

I think Emily and the pig had a ton of fun together.

I don't know what type of bird that is but Emily made sure to dish out lots of love to all the animals

College Visit

We were lucky to have the Westchester clan to come visit us this weekend.  Joe was looking at a college in New Hampshire and we were their next stop.

The kids were thrilled to have their cousins with them for the weekend.  Fun Times!

Great Effort G!

Beginning of March bring us NBA March Madness. Garrett was a mad man out there - dribbling, defending and shooting.

They put up quite the effort but came up short in the first round.  Garrett and Jared really tried so hard.

MORE SNOW

Seriously - how can it keep snowing?  Daddy is now building us a luge going all the way to the bottom of our street.   This is going to be fun.

 

The luge is a huge success - friends came to enjoy the fun as well.  

 This was a record breaking year with over 9 feet of snow and I hope this never happens again.  However, we did make the absolute best of it.  

Papa's Dream

Finally a grandchild that will sit down with a task and complete it.  Even more, it was working on putting something together.  

Emily listened to directions and used all the tools as instructed. 

Finished product - more workout equipment for Daddy.
