Daddy's birthday was the day after we returned home from LI and Connor used that day to prepare so many homemade presents. Daddy received paintings, drawings and so many hugs and kisses you couldn't count. We celebrated with ice cream cake - which is the boys favorite and then daddy opened all his presents.
The thought and time the kids put into the gifts was overwhelming. There was definitely one present that stole the show. In the past couple of months, we have been playing football every night - yes, tackle football. The boys are at the perfect height that every time they tackle daddy - they tend to hit a sensitive spot (if you know what I mean). So Connor took construction paper, cut it to be about an inch and a half wide and a couple inches long and told daddy to wear as protection for our football games. Connor called it a "penis protector" - so thoughtful!
