Wednesday: Day 5 - First stop, doctors office to have Emily's stitches removed. Thankfully this was an uneventful visit. When we returned, everyone was having fun in the pool. It was time to challenge ourselves to a new adventure. So we went paddle boarding which looks easy but isn't. Brian was a quick master and we all had fun trying. The kids tried out the water trampoline but it wasn't a big hit. Maybe when they get a little but older. When we returned to home base, Connor organized a shuffle board tournament. This kept everyone busy for a few hours and I am still not sure who won. After a fun dinner at the Hard Rock, it was off to our favorite dessert spot, McDonald's of course.
Thursday: Day 6 - Daddy booked us a private boat trip on the Black Pearl. This snorkeling trip was fantastic. We all geared up and enjoyed the entire experience, even the pizza sandwiches. The kids all snorkeled and saw the fish. My little adventurers. The afternoon was relaxing by the pool before our crazy boat ride with Andre...enough said. We got dressed a little fancy to go to a very nice Italian restaurant. Overall a perfect day.
Friday: Day 7 - Billy, Daddy and I went off on a bike riding adventure. You think how hard can bike riding be but then you realize you are riding on sand. What a fun challenge. Somehow we managed to go and not wipe out. Of course, we wanted to fit in as much as possible on our last full day. We managed to take the boys jet skiing and then played bingo. Full day of fun. This trip was highlighted by several ice bucket challenges which proved to be amusing each time.
Saturday: Last Day - visit the pool and the birds. Trip officially complete.
Somehow I managed to write this blog in a very simplified fashion. Unfortunately that is what happens when there is so much happening that it is impossible to mention it all. I think the most important thing I have left out is the company that came with us. Our trip wouldn't have been the same without Nana, Grandpa, Billy, Kathy, Joe and Meghan. The kids are obsessed with Joe and Meghan and they were such good sports the whole trip. Perfect vacation.
