Basketball

It has been a fun season of basketball for the boys.  Here are some pictures from the season.

The one thing I have to say for our boys is that they try so hard and never give up.  Love the determination and effort.

Garrett has earned the final step in pre-Kung Fu training by earning the highest shirt possible.  Now he is onto earning his white belt.

Snow Again - Record Breaker

Seven days after our last blizzard another one has swept through the Boston area.  The snow is the height of the deck railings on both sides.  

It is almost impossible to walk through the snow as it is now over 4 feet high at least.  That is a foot higher than Emily's height alone.

Kids jumped right over the deck railing only to land 1 foot down in the huge mountains of snow.

Shoveling is tiring work - Connor just needed a break.

Connor's 9th Birthday

Its Connor's birthday so what do you think that means - a snow storm of course!  The best part of the snow storm is that we got to stay home from work and make it an entire day of games and celebration.  I did have to fit some work in during the day so I set up in our dressing room at the desk by the window.  However this is my view which shows just how much snow is outside.  The window is covered all the way up to the second half of the window pane.

Look at the icicle off the back of the house...we are literally living in the "Frozen" castle.

Most important - here is our birthday boy!  

So many presents.

Connor's request for presents was that he wanted books.  Connor I absolutely love how much you read and love it.

The bond between these two is incredible.  Somehow Grandma can still hang with the energy of a 9 year old.

Connor loved his present from Grandma which was a Box of Money.  Each item was wrapped carefully and took Connor a long time to get into.  Look at the smile which is directed at Grandma.

Time to Sing with homemade cupcakes - thankfully we didn't lose power.

Every day you amaze us with your kind heart and caring for others.  You are so smart and engaging and we are so proud of you.  We Love You!

Help & Birthday Celebration

Nana, Grandpa and Aunt Ellen drove in and saved the day.  We needed some help during the week while we gave Grandma some time to recoup.  Their arrival allowed us to get back to work and even better we were able to celebrate Nana's birthday.  

Nana received lots of birthday hugs and presents.

It was a fast week of jam packed activities but we survived and all are still smiling.

Superbowl 2015: The Patriots Win

It was time to celebrate and watch the Superbowl...Can you tell which team the boys were ready to root for?  Garrett is wearing Rob Gronkowski's jersey and Connor is in full support of Tom Brady.

The Patriots won in the final seconds with an amazing interception of the Seattle Seahawks on the goal line.  One positive aspect of working at the Prudential Center is that they start the parade right below our building.  Below is Bob Kraft with the Lombardi Trophy.

Snow Time with Papa

Papa finally made it to us to see Grandma after the blizzard.  Thankfully he made time for all the kids and didn't disappoint.  

They quickly got to work on building a tunnel and a cave.

We made it through the tunnel - Success!

What a fun day that brought smiles to every one involved.  Grandma loved seeing the pictures.  At least the inconvenience of snow brought us many enjoyable moments.
