Just too Cute!

A weekend of sports and a birthday party.  Since it is a princess party, Emily decided to get all dressed up.  I couldn't resist the photo opportunity.

Pre-K Here I Come!

It is now time for Emily to start her Lion's class at Noah's Ark.  She can't wait to get back into the classroom and see all her friends.  

Backpack on hook - check!  Jacket on hook - check!  Ready to go!

First Day of School

September 3rd and off to school - Garrett is in Mrs. Willand's class (first grade) and Connor is in Mrs. Colwell's class (third grade).  Have a great day boys.

End of Season Party

Connor's summer baseball team had such a great season making it to the finals that we definitely needed to celebrate.  A party was set up at the Weston Racket Club and the kids were treated to a day at the pool.  After swimming, playing and volleyball, it was time for the coaches to say a few words.

Coach Todd, Henry and Brian were very proud of their crew of ball players.  Connor's award was presented last and for a very good reason.  Connor was named MVP of his team.  What an honor!  Below is a picture of his award...a personalized baseball card.  Look at those stats - 37 strikeouts and a .690 batting average.  You are an amazing young man with so much talent.  We are so proud of you and the most important part is that you had fun with your friends all season.

Every coach definitely deserved recognition as well and rightfully were awarded a great trophy.

Tooth Be Gone

We had a little incident with the Buick Enclave so we took daddy's car to NH.  This involved the kids being in one row for the first time in a long time.  They really had so much fun together.  One minute they were all laughs.

The next minute Garrett was missing a front tooth.  Connor's elbow accidentally caught it while they were goofing around.  So, the tooth fairy would need to make a visit and Garrett is now missing both his front teeth.  Lucky for G, he is still looking good.

Hiking and Friends

The next day we headed out early to go to Dana's Bath which we always wanted to visit.  This involved a little hiking which was definitely worth it.  When we emerged from the trail, rock formations stretched for as long as we could see.  Shoes were thrown off and the kids immediately started exploring.

After they jumped across a big rock divide, they were proud to pause for a quick picture.

After a couple hours hiking, we headed to grab some lunch.  A quick bite to eat and it was Storyland time.  The added bonus of rushing off to Storyland is that the Chings and Hunsickers were there to meet us.

This was the first year the kids went on the Pharaoh's water ride...everyone came off wet.  On the outside, we had a blast using the water guns to get the kids.

Of course, the girls were excited to see Cinderella.

That night we all had fun at the water park and a night of movies at the hotel.  The next day we were up and out of the hotel early.  Time to get on all the ride we missed the day before.

Daddy even snuck in a nap.  

The day was filled with laughs and excitement.

Fun was had by all.

No one escaped being silly.  I just happened to catch Garrett in the act.  

I think the pictures speak for themselves.  Everyone had an amazing time and even more fun was had back at the hotel for dinner and a movie.  Great trip!

NH Here We Come

Last year we didn't make our annual trip to NH so we had to be sure to schedule it this year.  We headed off to NH first thing Friday morning and arrived ready to have some fun.  

Our first stop was to get out Elphabet cards and then a quick photo op on our snowman.  It was exciting to see the boys remembering everything and explaining it to Emily.

Of course we had to be measured...Garrett coming in at 47 inches...so close to 4 feet.

Connor recorded at 4 feet 6 inches...you are going to be taller than mom soon.  Slow down.

Emily stood tall at 3 feet 3 inches.  

We are ready to ride...everyone wanted to drive their own car this year.

Emily is a great little driver.  She loved this Elf who was dressed in pink from head to toe.

Off to the roller coaster - all the kids loved to ride the roller coaster - 3 little dare devils.

Of course, we had to visit with Santa.  The kids all were excited to visit with Santa and talked his ear off.

We also had to make sure all the reindeer were well fed to make sure they have enough energy in December.

Garrett and Emily are crazy and don't view any ride as too scary.  Look at them with their hands in the air during the ride.

It really was a great day at Santa's Village!  Time to head to the hotel to have some pool time and relax.
