Kimball Farm Fun

I think Kimball Farm wasn't named properly.  This place has mini golf, bumper boats, a driving range, baseball cages and of course, animals.  It was such a fun adventure and being with the Chings made it even more fun.  After a heated round of mini golf, we headed onto the bumper boats.  We all had a great time on the bumper boats especially since we had so many friends/targets to go after.  I didn't think I would get Emily off the boats because she thought it was so much fun.  

While the boys were off at the batting cages, the girls decided on pony rides.  Ready to go.

Emily is a pro with amazing posture and loved the ride.

Kung Fu Panda 3

I didn't realize it was possible already but since Emily will be turning four this month, she is allowed to join Kung Fu classes.  Look at our little fighter - ready to attack. 

Connor was so excited to be asked to be the assistant instructor.  C is quite a good little teacher.  

Fourth of July

The week of the Fourth of July was a fun week.  Nana, Grandpa and Aunt Ellen came to stay with us and look after the kids while we were at work.  

There were so many highlights it is hard to recount.  Connor played a big baseball game against Wellesley.  Needham Gold beat the Wellesley team by a score of 7 to 4 thanks to a big hit by Connor in the top of the sixth inning.  This game will end up making the difference in the final standings and give Needham Gold First place in the division.  The game finished just in time to get to the Firework display.

Daddy ran the 5k in record time as always - around 19 minutes and 20 seconds.  We cheered so loud and Daddy won another medal.  The rain started falling the minute the Needham parade was over.  So we headed off to Dave & Buster's later that afternoon.  Lots of games and so many tickets it was hard to count, everyone managed to pick up lots of prizes.

It was so much fun to have Aunt Ellen with us. 

Family Birthday Time

It was Shannen and Morgan's birthday party and we were so happy we could attend.  I think the most shocking moment was when I didn't even recognize Jonathan.  It is amazing what a difference a year makes.

All the kids are growing up so fast and had a blast at Pump It Up!

First Day of Camp

Summer has officially begun!   

This summer the kids will be in various baseball, soccer and gymnastics camps.  They are looking forward to all the fun.  Looking good kiddos.

Tangled

Today Emily went to a birthday party and met Rapunzel for the first time.  To say her reaction of shock and awe was priceless when Rapunzel walked into the party is a huge understatement.  Our cutie stayed at the party without any parent and is truly our little lady.

Town Tournament

Connor woke up ready to play this morning and he definitely proved it quickly.  Today was the town tournament for all the 8 year old travel teams and at stake was the coveted bobble head trophy.

Connor was selected by coach to pitch in the first inning of the first game and proved his stuff by only allowing one hit and three strike outs.  In the first inning he also had his first at bat which was a solid hit for a single.  He was then told to pitch the second inning as well.  Here he forced a pop up for an out which he caught and two strike outs.  Quite a masterpiece!   Connor also got to hit in the second inning and wow did he hit.  Connor roped a ball into the outfield close to the forest which proved to be an easy double.  He definitely brought his game for the first game of the day and was psyched that they won.  I was even rewarded after the two innings when my big boy came and gave me a huge hug and kiss.  To me, I was the lucky winner. 

The kids went right into the second game which was proving to be more difficult.  Connor had another stellar hit which was a line drive between short and third base. This ball actually went into the forest for a double and helped drive in some runs. The Gold team had a come from behind win to clinch the coveted trophy.

Connor you always work so hard at practice and we are so happy you had fun.  

The team had fun and played hard. We were all rewarded with a BBQ that night to watch the World Cup at Coach Todd's house.
